The oldest known coat of arms of the Fuhrmann-family
from (abt.) 1460
These Family Fuhrmann, with some different tribes in Germany and the United States leads back to Johann George Fuhrmann, Pharmacist in Birnbaum, Poznan (today Miedzychod) and he is a descendant of Jacobus Fuhrmann, Pastor in St. Marien- Kirche in Stargard, Pommerania. This early descendancy is not provable by written documents, but we assume the relationship by the similarity of the coat of arms and some secondary records in books and chronicles we found.
